Design Concept Modeling

For 3D printed parts that require smooth surface, high resolution, accurate measurements and precise modeling purposes.

This lattice sphere (6 cm in diameter, with combination of 2 lattice thickness of 0.5 mm and 0.3 mm) in the video demonstrates the material capabilities and intricate details of ApplyLabWork’s Modeling Black in Design Concept Series, 3D printed without any structural support on Form 2 printer. The accuracy of perfect sphere and clean lattice structure serve as a good example of a balanced rigid and elongation properties. These balanced characteristics ensure the ease of handling and high print success rate of delicate prints. Modeling Resins are perfect for printing small parts that require intricate details as well as large parts that require precisions and durability.

Available Colors: Black and Beige are excellent choices for parts to be painted over or treated with other finishing.

Modeling Black supports print resolutions of 100, 50 and 25 microns
Modeling Beige supports print resolutions of 100 and 50 microns

Design Concept Modeling Plus

For 3D printed parts that require smooth surface, high detail with higher bendability (elongation of 25~35%), approximately 4 times higher than Modeling Resins. Modeling Plus is more impact resistant and has better repeat assembling/fitting ability than Modeling Resins. The full rigid and pliable characteristic requires UV post-curing to reach its full material potential. Its definition details are slightly less fine when compare to Modeling resins.

This golf ball picker is 3D printed with Modeling Plus Olive Gray on Form 2 without any structural supports. The video demonstrates the rigid and pliable characteristic of Modeling Plus Olive Gray, stretching and snapping back to grab the golf ball tightly. In another video, the same golf ball picker was put to a challenge of picking up a pool ball and executed perfectly, showing off its unique material properties. Please explore these videos in our video gallery.

Prototype Engineering Flex

For 3D printed parts that can withstand compression and bending to simulate rubber like materials, ApplyLabWork’s Prototype Flex Resin in Prototype Engineering Series is your answer. Ideal for dampening, cushioning, wearable prototyping and stamping applications. UV post-curing is required. It’s the perfect materials for creating tires, cushions, handles, seals, soft joints, soles of footwear..etc.

The Flex Cube in the video is 3D printed with our Prototype Flex Resin in Metallic on Form 2 without any structural supports. The video demonstrates the compressibility and the ability to return to its original form quickly. In another video, the same Flex Cube was subjected to compression of a full body weight and was quickly returned to form. Additionally, we put our Flex Resin in another challenge by having an automobile running over it and it quickly returned to its original form, demonstrates its superb flexibility. Please explore the videos in our video gallery.
